The news keeps getting better!

Last week we received confirmation from one of our volunteer that South Island robins translocated from Waikaia to Bluff in March 2017 have breed on our hill! The first time in over a century!

So here’s some super cute pics of our precious ‘Bluff babies’ courtesy of our amazing photographer Yvonne Pickford, just to prove it.

Now is a good time to consider helping BHMET in our efforts to protect these and other baby manu by considering trapping rats and stoats in your backyards . We are happy to offer advice and assistance so please get in touch if you’re interested.
